In 1994 Mladen Dimitrov wins gold medal in mathematics on the international contest. In 1996 Yanko Todorov is awarded a sylver medal in physics. Because of prof. Minko Balkasnki in 1996 for the first time in bulgarian and french history a bulgarian - Mladen Dimitrov, enrolled at Ecole Normale Superieure and Ecole Polytechnique. Yordan Tabakov enrolled at Ecole Polytechnique in 1997, and in 1998 Svetoslav Chakarov passes the hard exams. In 1999 Yanko Todorov, and in 2002 Plamen Bokov begin their educatin in Ecole Normale Superieure. Bulgaria can be proud with these exellent young physicists.
On 22th march 2007 the laureates of the last „Minko Balkanski“ contest – Georgi Subashki in physics, Tsvetelina Tseneva, Eliana Robeva in mathematics, enrolled at the Louis Le Grand lyceum. They will prepare for two years to apply for the best french universities.
